John Smith of Portland, Oregon sent us pictures of his completed Armed Virginia Sloop by Model Shipways - great work John! According to John, he has been a modeler all of his life, this was his first successful build of a wooden ship model! He experienced 3 failed attempts with kits from other manufacturers - I guess a kit from Model Shipways was the key to success! John is now hooked and as you might see, he has quite a stash to keep me occupied in the future! John is currently working on both Niagara & Syren by Model Shipways - and he's enjoying both of them!
